Job Purpose

Leading ChangeFolio's Training practice to achieve our audacious, strategic goals both in South Africa and globally. We will be looking to you to define the overarching Training Practice strategy, implementation plan and milestones, building change management training content and facilitating.

Conducting research, developing and delivering extraordinary content, that places us as best-in-class and leaves our clients wanting more. Developing content that inspires people and organisations to build change and transformation capabilities through self-managed learning, facilitated learning and a community of practice.

Work with the global operations team to increases revenue and profitability through client relationship building and engagements, training sales and by increasing the number of relevant and fit-for-purpose training products available to the market.

Ultimately positioning ChangeFolio as the change and transformation Training Partner of choice for both our clients and our people.

Duties and Responsibilities

To fulfill end-to-end Training Practice responsibilities which include:

1. Create the Training Practice Strategy and quarterly OKRs

2. Training Content Development (both facilitator-led and self-managed)

Conduct customer focus group sessions and conduct research on change management and business transformation topics and needsObtain feedback from consultants in the field on client pain points, needs and opportunities that could inform content developmentCreate a content development roadmap (for facilitator-led, self-managed learning and mobile learning)Create content and where necessary, outsource content development to achieve OKRsManage course development with partners to ensure learning objectives are clearly defined and met, quality of content is approved and vetted, and milestones are met for payment Schedule planned design briefs and design work on the course content with the Behavioural Design Creative practice, including briefing in e-learning productsEnsure quality assurance of content before piloting or launching (proof reading and testing)Pilot new programmes, master classes and learning bites with clients and consultants for feedback and content improvements Work with the Growth Manager, Creative team and Digital Marketing to promote available programmes, master classes and learning bites Put governance and an annual cadence in place to maintain and update existing content to remain fresh and relevant

3. Facilitator Management

Work with the Talent team to identify and add suitable facilitators to our team of vetted facilitators Maintain and update rate cards for facilitation Upskill facilitators for relevant programmes through observation, co-facilitation and facilitation process

4. Client Training Initiatives and Public Training Programmes

Facilitate ChangeFolio Training programmes in-person and virtuallySchedule approved facilitators to facilitate programmesManage the end-to-end planning and management of training rolling out at clientsMaintain a training checklist and standards of excellence to ensure a seamless learner experience On-board vetted facilitators to facilitate programmesConduct QA checks with the client and facilitators to maintain standards of excellence Track and monitor learners evaluation forms and provide reports ChangeFolio and clients Oversee contracting with facilitators and quality of delivery

5. Community of Practice

Clearly define the CoP strategy, objectives and targets to keep learners engaged and growing Establish the Community of Practice on the ChangeFolio Academy Schedule and implement activities to grow the CoP through thought leadership, CoP events, articles, events and other strategies to grow a CoP

6. Competitor Analysis

Monitor and track what competitors are offering the market in South Africa and globally Conduct market research and obtain insights from the digital marketing team on search terms and popular courses Identify opportunities for developing suitable courses based on competitor analysis, market research and strategic goals

7. Revenue Growth and profitability through Training

Support revenue growth of the business by having best-in-class courses available for clients Work with the Growth Manager to identify opportunities, create quote/proposals and offer training solutions to clients that build change capabilities Work with the Digital Marketing team to promote courses that are available

Key Performance Metrics

Key performance metrics to measure outputs and performance will include:

Number of new courses developed and taken to market within agreed time-frames Number new courses on the ChangeFolio Academy mobile app within agreed time-framesQuality of training experience (through learner evaluation feedback)Number of sign-ups for self-managed learning Sales targets for training programmes Training revenue and profitability

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

A seasoned professional with strong experience in developing training programmes and facilitating training A minimum of a degree in People SciencesAn understanding and exposure to change management, change management models and methodologies

Experience and Skills:

A minimum of 8 years in the field of learning and developmentStrategic planning skills Course content development skills (e-learning development a plus)Facilitation skillsA strong understanding of change managementAn understanding of business and consulting language and methodologies and terms such as Change Management, Agile, PROSCI etc.Research skillsA plus is previous experience working for a Training company or consulting firm

Working Conditions

Full time, 40 hours a week for Head Office. Hybrid working including office-based meetings.Client on-site facilitation as needed.Own transport is a must.Attendance of team meetings.Attending of work events as scheduled.

Fixed-Term Contract and Benefits

Fixed-term contract for a period of 12 monthsMonthly rate is dependent on experience and skills Leave benefits of 15 days within the 12-month contract period
