Get privileged access to a selection of available positions and candidatesOur Client, Ryan, is seeking a Principal for their Montreal-based Sales tax Practice, who will play a pivotal role as part of the overall Canadian sales tax leadership team.Minimum 10 years' professional experience in sales tax consulting, ideally in public accounting / tax consulting firmHold a recognized accounting designation (CPA).Strong knowledge of Goods and Services Tax, Quebec Sales Tax, and Provincial Retail Sales Tax legislation and policies.Experience with managing and disputing audits performed by Canadian tax authorities, seeking for and obtaining rulings, and submitting voluntary disclosure to tax authorities.Experienced with tax research and preparation of tax memorandum.Excellent communication skills, adept at simplifying complex tax concepts for clients and colleagues.
