Our Client is a leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services Industry JOB Summary Responsible for the Engineering and Technical Support functions in support of TCS (Total Customer Satisfaction) management for both the Test and Manufacturing Process section. Provide Technical support for customer’s product and building Engineering competency to support the customer’s technology requirement. Provide the process capability and enhancement to Production with engineering solutions (Value Engineering) and improving the Manufacturing Efficiency and Quality Responsibilities: Build robustness in manufacturing & engineering process, development & change documentation, implementation and communication

• Develop and document the Manufacturing Processes Venture’s SOP. Ensure that V-SOP are fully executed with compliance and updated as necessary to improve the process governance
• Ensure good communications between engineering and manufacturing to ensure timely implementation of Engineering changes or Processes such that Products are manufactured to the latest Revision requirements

Build Engineering Capability, provide technical leadership, and introduce best practices

• Staff the organization with the appropriate Engineering skill-sets and develop core competencies in Engineering for current and future requirements to match Customer’s and Industry Technology Roadmap
• Build strong Engineering Processes, that will meet business objectives and operational needs
• Provide Technical Leadership for Product Testing and Troubleshooting, NPI (New Product Introduction) for customer’s product prototype built and DFx review and analysis
• Lead the Engineering team in providing First Level Analysis (FLA) with the use of appropriate analytical Failure analysis (FA) methodology tools to analyzing, debugging and identifying the root cause of to the product failures to communicate and review with Customer’s engineering team to seek solutions to any product failures occurring in the manufacturing line
• Implement Best Practices in Engineering, assembly process efficiency improvements, Yield and Productivity improvement, improving the Test coverage efficiency
• Provide manufacturing Value Add inputs to new product RFQ and improvement to the existing products to minimize the manufacturing cost to Operations

Facilities compliance and management, and manufacturing equipment uptime

• Ensure that the Equipment are maintained with periodic and regular maintenance by the Equipment Engineering team to ensure maximum Equipment uptime to maximize Manufacturing Output
• Responsible for specific compliance and business initiatives that are related to country environmental agencies, safety agencies, transportation agencies, fire authorities, water discharge authorities, permitting, reporting, disclosures and other items related to such areas as wastewater, storm water, emergency response, hazardous waste, medical waste, accident prevention, injury management, pollution prevention and related areas

Authority:

• Engineering Approval on Process and Test procedures
• Review and approve the NRE on Fixturing needed for the manufacturing line

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years in Electronics manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge in Manufacturing in the various types of technology field would be an added advantage
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 6-Sigma is highly preferable
• Resourceful, responsive, reliable and ability to interact with people at different levels
• Strong Management skills and technical leadership to drive for solutions and project datelines to meet Operation KPIs goals
• Strong skills in Analytical, Problem Solving skills and familiar with SMT process, DFx, SPC and FMEA methodology
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
