Logistics Coordinator

Dynes Transport Ltd is a leading transport company across New Zealand, providing a range of services to customers in various industries across New Zealand. We are 54+ years trading & are big on family values and wellbeing. You will join a small, dedicated and high performing team based at our Te Rapa branch in Hamilton. No two days will be the same, and you will be kept challenged as you:- * Manage data entry through our bespoke Dispatching system. * Ensure safety and customers are your first priority. * Work within our systems to ensure administrative records are up to date, and timely. * Be able to dispatch our trucks for best utilisation for ourselves and our customers. * Provide support, to our operations coordinator if and when required. To be successful, we envisage that:- * You’ll already have done this role, and are a true success story within the jobs you’ve performed. * You’ll know your way around computer systems along with Excel and other management tools required for this role. * You'll understand how customer billing and invoicing being done correctly, impacts cashflow and customers. * You’ll understand the complexities of transport dispatch and coordination. * You’ll love delighting and over-achieving for our customers and our own success. We would love to hear from you if you have:- * A good understanding of logistics. * Sound computer literacy. * Excellent time management & communication skills. * A passion for the industry. * Dispatch, coordination experience. * An understanding of admin. * Strong Health and Safety focus. * Class 5 licence * A fantastic personality with a willingness to learn and grow.
