Aquatics Programmes Leader

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as the Aquatic Programmes Leader. You will increase awareness and usage of the Makino Aquatic Centre by creating, planning and delivering a variety of programmes, activities and events. This role calls for a highly motivated individual who can excel in both the planning and marketing areas of this role, and also be a passionate and energetic leader on the ground during events. We are seeking an individual who has:

• Proven experience in the planning and delivery of programmes, activities and events. Experience within an Aquatic environment is desired but not essential
• Exceptional communication skills and an ability to connect and engage with a wide range of demographics
• Proven experience with social media marketing and website management
• A passion for community

Typically, the hours of work for this role will be between 1pm - 6pm weekdays, however a high level of flexibility with hours is essential due to the nature of this role. Your leadership, engagement and attendance at events and programmes is a requirement of this role. The Makino Aquatic Centre offers a supportive environment, where team work is a must. In this role, you will also be trained to support in other areas including front of house, and aqua fitness and swim instruction.
