Why Join The Relationship Manager is responsible for active client management strategies and acquisition through networking, marketing activities and ongoing dialogue with key clients within the Public Sector team. This role will allow the Relationship Manager to work with clients involved in Real Estate and Private Equity across OCBC's overseas franchise. How you succeed The Relationship Manager will possess a good grasp of financial statement analysis and able to identify key drivers and global trends to clients' business model and make reasonable projections to their future cashflows. The Relationship Manager will be the focal point of contact on all clients matters to drive the relationship and manage the risk and return continuum. By mobilising product partners and internal stakeholders (risk/legal/ops/compliance), the relationship manager will identify clients' requirements and strategize on growing the relationship. What you do
- Responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of corporate clients.
- Grow and cross-sell product capabilities and regional franchise to deepen client coverage and enhance portfolio return.
- Engage in new business development by prospect new potential corporate customers.
- Market full suite of financial products and services, including loan origination, treasury/hedging, debt / equity capital markets, trade and cash/wealth management solutions.
- Prepare credit proposals/credit reviews and manage the end-to-end process including legal documentation, implementation, and on-going credit monitoring.
- Enhance customers' relationships and service clients' day-to-day operations requirements.
- Structure viable financing solutions to meet clients' requirements.
- Work closely with colleagues from various product partners and colleagues from the Bank's overseas network globally to identify and realize opportunities across the entire value chain.
- Work independently with business partners of the Bank to cross sell fee-based products, including trade, treasury, cash management, capital markets products to deepen client relationships and to enhance return.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant banking experience in corporate banking, involving loan syndication, debt capital markets, and M&A advisory related transactions. Preference will be given to bankers with experience in Real Estate.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to lead deal team in origination and execution.
- Sound working knowledge on credit analytics, corporate finance, banking products & services and loan & security documentation.
- Strong credit & financial analytical skills, problem-solving abilities
- Independent, self-motivated and exhibits flexibility in handling change, being able to juggle multiple demands, and adapting to new situations.
- Results-oriented, resourceful and possess keen business acumen in identifying and developing business opportunities.
- Strong team player with ability to foster trust and work well with both internal and external stakeholders.
