Python Backend Developer with API expertise

Company Description Woodfrog technologies is a start up in data space. We deliver end to end data related projects including data engineering, analytics and machine learning in different domains. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Python Backend Developer with API expertise. The Python Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining scalable API services and back-end systems. The Python Backend Developer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions, and ensure the performance, reliability, and security of the API platform. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, with experience in developing web applications using Django, Flask, or other frameworks
- Experience with API development and integration, and understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with database design and optimization, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Experience with version control systems like Git, and knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure like AWS or Google Cloud, and experience with containerization and deployment using Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest or Unittest, and knowledge of unit and integration testing principles
- Good communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a team environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
