Private Banking Executive Dublin This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks. As a Barclays Private Banking Executive, you will assist in acquiring, servicing and retaining clients to deliver overall business goals. You will become a key point of contact for the client for day-to-day operational matters, assisting the Private Banker in marketing products to clients and supporting the business in the delivery of its targets and goals. What will you be doing? • Assisting Private Bankers in ensuring adherence to the Global KYC policy, complying with all regulatory & Wealth requirements/procedures/controls & recognising/managing risk • Responding in a timely and professional manner to client requests, owning task execution end to end, working pro-actively with Operations, Business Management • Helping with client administrative tasks and ensuring delivery, resolve issues and reduce/ remove errors • Acting as liaison between Private Banker and specialist product areas, e.g. investment management, credit, fiduciary, etc. to ensure the smooth operation of all services • Preparing letters and ad-hoc reports for clients and draft letters for Private Bankers • Building excellent relationships with the stakeholders, addressing and solve clients' administration inquiries in order to provide a high quality personalised service • Maintaining a working knowledge of the markets, economic position, research view and product set thus being able to provide a view of these to the Private Banker • Performing daily operations and transactions on clients' accounts What we’re looking for: • APA/QFA qualified or willing to complete these qualifications • Sound knowledge of banking, and operational procedures, plus lending, FX and understanding of security requirement • Previous experience in a client facing role in Private Banking/ wealth management or within a similar industry, excellent communication, analytical and diplomacy skills • Understanding of regulatory issues/ procedures, with comprehensive and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer regulations and standards Skills that will help you in the role: • Excellent time-management, self-planning and organizational skills as well as excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills and IT Skills (Microsoft standard packages)• Knowledge of the role of private bankers and private banking products, knowledge of the regulatory requirements and fluency in another European language is a plus • Experience in Customer Due Diligence procedures, awareness of Financial Crime policy and procedures, cross border activities and processing of all new account applications • Knowledge of regulatory issues and Private Bank procedures Where will you be working?
