Regional Treasury Director - US MNC

The Company Our client is a well-established US MNC with over 40 years of history and leading in the advertising and media industry. Globally they have over 70,000 employees over 100 countries worldwide. They are establishing Singapore as the regional HQ with ambitious and aggressive growth plan in the APAC region. They are partnering with us to look for a hands-on Regional Treasury Director to manage the APAC treasury operation. It's a great opportunity for candidates who are keen to set-up treasury function in a fast growing region and work with supportive empowerment senior leaders. The Role Reporting to Global Treasury VP, you will oversee the daily treasury activities in the APAC region, which includes banking relationship management, banker guarantees, cashflow management and payment process streamlining. You will work closely with global treasury teams based in Europe and US, and coordinate with local tax and accounting teams to set-up a smooth treasury operation process. You will also act as a strategic partner with global senior leadership to advice on treasury related policies and procedures. On top of which, you will take part in exciting global cash pooling or restructuring projects to improve efficiency and drive business impact. To be a successful candidate, you must be

• A qualified accountant with a Degree in Accounting/Finance/banking. Master's Degree/MBA is added adventitious.
• At least 12- 15 years of treasury exposure.
• APAC regional treasury exposure and knowledge is highly preferred.
• Experience working in matrix organisation and global multinational companies is preferred.
• Relevant industry in advertising/media/service is preferred.
• Additionally, strong communication skills is required to drive business partnering and must be able to influence business stakeholders.
