We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager & Business Analyst, focusing on driving operational efficiency within our banking operations. The primary responsibilities will include spearheading process re-engineering initiatives and implementing system improvements. This role will also play a crucial part in the strategic offshoring of activities to our Shared Service Center in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership & Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Re-engineering: Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and process optimization, lead process re-engineering efforts, and implement changes to streamline workflows.
  • System Improvements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, recommend, and implement system upgrades or replacements to optimize banking operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and effectively communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget and schedule.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, fostering a collaborative environment, providing leadership to achieve project objectives while ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst in the banking industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in process re-engineering and implementing system improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in managing projects involving offshoring or shared service centers is highly desirable.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) and business analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred experience in loan or trade products within banking sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Power Query for data analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI for reporting and visualization.
