Assistant Finance & HR Manager (Digital Media, Start-up)

The Company My client is a Singapore HQ digital media agency with high growth trajectory. Keen to hire a driven and hands-on Finance talent to oversee Accounting and HR responsibilities. Requirements

• 6-8 years of strong Finance & Accounting experience, with an interest to oversee some HR responsibilities (such as recruitment, team building initiatives etc)
• Digital Media, Technology or experience working in a start-up can be helpful
• Desired traits: Self-starter, independent, proactive, team player, flexible, hands-on, has a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced start up environment

Budget: S$5,000 - S$6,300 per month + Variable Bonus Job Scope Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all Finance & Human Resources portfolio. This includes bookkeeping, financial accounting, invoicing, managing payment to vendors, reconciliation, reporting, tax and audit requirements, payroll, recruitment and HR related scope of work. You will be involved in bringing the Finance & Accounting activities in-house from an external vendor, evaluate and implement finance processes, recommend best practices and explore system implementation, as well as continually explore ways to streamline/ enhance ways of doing things internally. This will be a Singapore portfolio with approximately focus of 70% on Finance & Accounting responsibilities + 30% HR scope of work.
