We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to be a part of our growth engine. Our sales development team is responsible for identifying and prospecting into segments with high potential to benefit from Airwallex's products, and as a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of driving Airwallex's growth and building our customer base in the region. You are excited about prospecting to potential customers and are capable of creatively and independently developing outreach strategies. You enjoy speaking to people, understanding business needs, and proposing solutions. Lastly, you enjoy being part of an early stage team - you will actively participate in improving our prospecting and sales process, the articulation of Airwallex's value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets. - Identify high potential businesses, and develop and execute strategies to bring them to Airwallex.
- Execute 'plays' to drive prospect interest through cold calls, emails, chat and social media.
- Develop relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability to prepare hand-off to Account Executives.
- Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs.
- Effectively work through lead list meeting/exceeding SLAs and consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system to support weekly reporting efforts.
- Develop outreach strategies and best practices by testing various touch points.
- Motivated self starter who is able to operate in a scrappy, hyper growth environment.
- Ambitious to make an impact and have a constant desire to improve yourself.
- Strong people skills - you are a natural at starting conversations and building relationships with prospects.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong team player.
- Strong interest in technology and/or financial services.
- Ability to speak in Mandarin is an advantage.
