Job details
Responsiblity:Reviewingscripts to make informed decisions about talentrequirements.Liaising with directors orproducers to find out more about their vision andrequirements.Preparing actors for auditions orinterviews by providing the script and information about castingexpectations.Scheduling and conducting castingcalls, auditions, and interviews with talentedperformers.Maintaining accurate files onactors.Working closely with talent agencies topool information and resources in terms of talentscouting.Contacting agents and actors aboutperformance opportunities and auditiontimes.Mediating in contract agreements withactors or between actors and agents or productioncompanies.Hiring and training personnel tohelp find actors in possession of particular talents orskills.Attending concerts, performances,plays, and movies to stay abreast of acting talent and culturalevents.
