You will be one of the principalpillars of the hotel, passionately and enthusiastically directingday-to-day activities of the sales & Marketing team byinspiring and coaching them to drive results. Further you willdrive the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget,the hotel sales, marketing and business plan. As Director of Sales& Marketing you will be involved in sales forecasting withthe Revenue Director and also developing special events and salesblitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients. You willdevelop rapports with key clients and feel comfortable taking risksby entering into new markets. You will have a presence at tradeshows and major market events, locally and nationally, to promotenew business and increase sales for thehotel.QualificationsBachelor's degree in anyrelated fieldAt least five years experience inhotel sales and marketingExperience in luxuryhotel brandsRevenue managementexperienceAbility to influence and persuadewith excellent negotiation skillsStrong salesand analytical knowledge
