Select your country to see jobs specific to your location.As part of a team of Accountants, this role will report directly to the Finance Manager based in Gauteng and work with the finance team based in the UK as and when required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPreparation of monthly financial reports: covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statementsManaging the general ledger: including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking and inter-company reconciliationsCompletion of the monthly accruals, journals, fixed assets and depreciation schedulesWeekly cash flow reportingExecuting payments and performing monthly bank reconciliationPreparation of indirect and Corporate Income Tax returnsProviding information as requested for tax purposes to the tax manager, external consultants and tax authorities.Assisting in the preparation of year end statutory accountsAssisting with the budgeting and forecastingEnsuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered toReporting consolidated results at a group levelInternational reporting for global entities (e.g. US GAAP, Spanish GAAP etc)Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialistsAssisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiativesData analysis and various financial query managementWhere required M&A support regarding investment reporting and due diligenceWhere required, project finance support including loan disbursements and facility management, asset management reporting and due diligence.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBCom Accounting Hons with completed articles.0 - 2 years' Post Articles experiencePERSONAL PROFILE & LEADERSHIP ESSENCEAccuracy and attention to detail non-negotiableComfortable working in a fast-paced high-performance environment.Individual should enjoy working in an international team.Flexible with an ability to work professionally and accurately under pressure and challenging deadlines as well as to prioritize tasks.The number of jobs in each salary range for all:
