These jobs were popular with other job seekers Reference: SW004730-AM-1A well-established financial services concern with offices in Somerset West is seeking to employ an International Business Consultant who will be responsible for increasing sales across the company's product range including the various joint venture and co-branded initiatives that the company operates.This will be done, primarily, by establishing relationships with financial advisers, accountants and other professionals that may have a need for the products and building and developing relationships with existing firms with whom the company has terms of businessThe post holder reports to the Director Duties & Responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities:Financial Services Industry experience and skills will be used to create and manage the costs as well as contributing to the overall betterment of the firmThe role suits a highly organized self-starter that is able to work remotely and is confident enough to be judged by resultsThe role involves extensive travel both in South Africa and abroad. In addition to working normal business hours you will also be expected to make yourself available outside normal South African business hours as required.You will need to be technically proficient in the benefits, application and tax issues around the use of company products in the various jurisdictions that they operate inMarketing the services and products from the company and associated companies/JVsRepresenting the Company and its brands in a professional and diligent mannerCreating a business development plan/implement the strategyEnsuring that product sales meet all regulatory requirementsWorking and building relationships with the Life companies and International Investment housesDevelopment of new productsAttending/presenting seminars and/or presentationsGathering market intelligence and understanding competitor productsObtaining awareness of and understanding of new markets in South Africa and greater AfricaLiaise with tax/legal advisers These jobs were popular with other job seekers
