You will be working on a per-project basis on sites across Western Canada, with travel to our head office in Leduc, AB required on occasion.Your essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, hazard identification, near miss and incident reporting, procedures and safety analysis, and other attachments, tower sheets, etc.Operate, monitor, and control process levels, temperatures, pressures, and flows for applicable processes and systemsEnsure that required documentation is legible, accurate, and completed on a timely basis dailyFollow Preventative Maintenance Inspection Programs and complete related tasksOperate and maintain centrifuge systems and affiliated equipmentPerform mechanical and/or equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair as requiredMaintain safe and clean equipment and general work areaAssist/lead the team with rigging up and tearing out process (i.e. traverse and turfer cables, slurry piping, process hoses, set up of dewatering process, run power cables, service of engines, mobilize/demobilize and spotting of equipment, working with cranes and winch trucks, etc.)Conduct general labour, including but not limited to, digging, sweeping, monitoring, sampling, and spotting for trucksDrive a crew truck to and from sites as requiredAssist with mentoring new employees on occasionConduct daily pre-& post-operational checks on equipment and document in equipment logsEnsure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents occurring on-site to the supervisorAbout YouTo qualify, you must have 1-2 years of centrifuge, dredging, or dewatering experience.
