Position Summary: In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving Company’s targets by:

  • Analyze and review incoming and outgoing invoices for goods and services, as well as import invoice items, and check the correct calculation and taxes to be paid in accordance with tax legislation and internal procedures.
  • Generate daily GNREs / MIRO SAP; issue invoices via the official state website and post the MIRO;
  • Calculate all indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS and ISS) and withholdings (PCC, IRRF, ISS, INSS);
  • Maintaining Tables - General Taxes Updating in SAP (ICMS / IPI / ICMS ST); according to changes in Brazilian legislation.
  • Prepare and control tax payments, including procedures related to payment forecasts.
  • Analyze, communicate and implement technical notes related to changes in the electronic invoices layout.
  • Register analysis - Update customer / supplier data and include in SharePoint for alteration in ERP -SAP.
  • Reconciliate all indirect taxes and withholdings. BSAR analysis accounting.
  • Assist with internal and external inspections and audits.
  • Check and obtain negative debt certificates in all areas (Federal, State and Municipal).
  • Seek guidance and solutions related to tax bookkeeping activities, as well as implementing new tax operations.
  • Update documentation: Digital Certificate / signatures / purchase / validation with the notary's office;
  • Follow-up with the Federal Revenue Service - ECAC Follow-up on the website of cases opened with the Federal Revenue Service;
  • Support internal and external clients.
  • Support the annual inventory process with F&A and Supply Chain depts.
What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications): · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related areas. · 3-5 years of indirect tax experience. · Proficiency in SAP, Excel and SYNCHRO are crucial. · Good analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret income tax law. · Experience with tax audits. · Ability to speak, read and write in English. · SP and MG Tax environment experience. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Detail-oriented, organized and ability to handle tight timelines. · Must be proactive with a “can do” attitude. · Ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
