Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within their assigned Zone/ Region. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and building strong relationships with customers in the life sciences sector. The ideal candidate should have the ability:

  • To achieve sales target of assigned region through strategizing direct sales and managing Channel partners.
  • To have In-depth business knowledge of the Region and should have prior experience of 4+ years of working within the region.
  • Should have the experience of handling the team and must have the quality of People management.
  • To have the self-reliant and have effective decision making and problem-solving attitude.
  • To have the ability to maintain the relations with Key account customers and channel partners.
  • To have market updates of the assigned regions.
  • To monitor competition activities, understanding competition strengths and weaknesses.
  • To have exceptionally high self-motivational levels and needs to be self-centred.
  • To make assessment for future growth in the designated area.
  • Have the effective communication and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) with a master's degree (MSc/ M.Tech/MBA) is preferable.
  • Proven experience of 10 to 15 years in life sciences consumables sales, with 4 to 5 years of experience in a sales leadership and people management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, including understanding products and applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales team effectively.
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
