Job description PR ASSISTANT MANAGER Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns to promote our brand, products, and initiatives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers across relevant media outlets and platforms.
- Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to secure media coverage and positive publicity.
- Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and media appearances for company spokespeople and executives.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging topics for proactive and reactive PR efforts.
- Respond to media inquiries and manage media relations effectively, ensuring accurate representation of the company's messages and values.
- Plan and execute special events, press conferences, and media tours to support PR initiatives and product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to align PR efforts with broader business goals.
- Manage crisis communications and reputation management efforts, providing timely and transparent responses to mitigate negative publicity or issues.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns using key metrics and KPIs, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.Maintain relationship with media (national & international)
- Work alongside digital media team to strategies
- 3- 4 years relevant experience
- Strong analytical, communication, time-management and creativity skills
- Experience with sporting events will be an advantage
- Strong ability to focus on customer/market and take initiative
- Experience with social media
- Required to work long hours
- The role may be varied at times and you will need to adapt quickly
- Work under pressure, used to working to strict deadlines and ever-changing schedules
