SERVICES LOCATIONThe successful Candidate may preform services remotely within Canada and if required a Client offices listed below:Vancouver Office Kamloops Office2490 Virtual Way 74 West Seymour StreetVancouver, BC V5M 0A6 Kamloops, BC V2C1E2TERMThe engagement is expected to start on April 29, 2024* and last 10 months with the possibility ofextension.*Client prefers Candidates with start date that is on or before the expected start date but may consider Candidates with a later start date.QUALIFICATIONSThe successful Candidate should demonstrate the following qualifications and experience (the "Qualifications "):• Formal project management education or certification including Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent certificate.• College degree or diploma in technology.• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience or related background.• Recent, related experience in a leadership capacity, including the ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance and support to agile team members throughout the project lifecycle.• Familiarity with managing projects in kanban/agile style and utilizing work management tool such as Jira.• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including scope management, work breakdown structures and scheduling, risk assessment, decision tree analysis, etc.• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate businessrequirements into functional scope and specifications, and the ability to communicate complicated technical issues to technical, non-technical, Steering Committee, and Executive audiences.• Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly identify potential issues and risks and craft innovative solutions.• The application of appropriate judgment and discretion in the resolution or escalation of project issues and recommendations to Steering Committee or Executive.• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and ensure timelycompletion of project deliverables.• Experience with the gaming industry.• Experience working with a Crown corporation.• Experience with Evergreen IT and coordinating technical debt.• Demonstrated experience with moderate to large technical implementations, preferably in the Identity & Access Management, Networking Systems, and Information Security spaces.SERVICESThe successful Candidate will have experience in:• Data Analysis: collecting, analyzing, and interpreting project data to identify trends, patterns, andinsights that can inform decision-making and drive project success.• Reporting: generating regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, progress, and key performance indicators to stakeholders, product owners, and leadership.• Project Planning Support: assisting in project planning activities, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, to ensure alignment with organizational goals andpriorities.• Risk Management: identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks by analyzing potential issues, developing risks mitigation strategies, and monitoring risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.• Documentation Management: maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, action items, and decision logs, to ensure compliance with organizational standards and facilitate knowledge transfer.• Resource Allocation: supporting product owners in resource allocation activities by tracking resource availability, utilization, and allocation to ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment with project requirements.• Stakeholder Communication: facilitating communication and collaboration among agile team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, and deliverables.• Quality Assurance: monitoring project deliverables and processes to ensure they meet quality standards, adhere to project requirements, and align with organizational policies and procedures.• Process Improvement: identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and best practices in project management methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance project outcomes and drive continuous improvement.• Support to Product Owners: providing administrative and analytical support to product owners, including scheduling meetings, preparing, agendas, tracking action items, and assisting with project-related tasks as needed to facilitate project success.• Other tasks as reasonably required by the Client Project Manager.SCHEDULEThe successful Candidate will provide up twenty (20) hours per week of services, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
