This role is critical in driving our understanding of market trends and consumer behavior through meticulous analysis of point of sales data. You will play a key role in shaping our product development and marketing strategies by providing actionable insights derived from this data. You will work with an experienced and passionate team of marketers and agency partners in driving our business knowledge and insights. The position reports to the Consumer InsightsManager.Role OverviewThe successful applicant for this opportunity is a consumer-focused marketer who can initiate, analyze and action consumer insights and market facts to drive business growth and improve marketing effectiveness. Your passion for understanding the consumer will be coupled with the ability to execute well-designed research and analyze data to deliver accurate and strategic insights, on time and on budget.As a developing insights manager, you will work alongside a highly experienced consultant and assist the Consumer Insights Manager to lead research, develop recommendations, and improve Dare's Insights capabilities.ResponsibilitiesExtract, validate, and analyze NielsenIQ data to report business performances, identify market trends, opportunities, and consumer behavior insights.Lead analytical projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to apply data point of sales and panel data insights to influence product development, marketing, and sales strategies.Present comprehensive reports and recommendations based on data analyses to senior management.Assist with developing, maintaining, and ongoing reporting of monthly and quarterly business reports.Provide support to manage partnership with NielsenIQ and SPINS for point-of-sale market data.Consolidate data sources and develop reports to present results and insights concisely and effectively.Assist with quantitative and qualitative marketing research projects.Trends identification, monitoring and reporting.Develop insights and make recommendations based on analyses.Collaborate with cross-functional internal, external partners to develop, maintain, monitor and improve key areas.Other ad hoc projects and reports as assigned.Who are we looking for?A desire to drive your future and build your career, plus the following experience and knowledge.Natural curiosity and passion for learning.Strategic thinking and being results driven.Proven ability to analyze data to discover insights.Ability to work independently or in a team.Solid interpersonal and communication skills.Organizational and project management skills.Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervisionMinimum Requirements1-2 years of experience analyzing NielsenIQ data and working knowledge of NielsenIQ Discover portal.A university degree in Marketing or Consumer Research.Solid MS Office Skills - Excel, Powerpoint, Word.Knowledge of NielsenIQ and data visualization tools (e.g. MS Power BI) an asset.Must have a valid visa or legal permission to work in Canada for the duration of the contract.What we offer at Dare FoodsHybrid work environment.Flexible benefits.Defined Contribution pension plan with company-matched contributions.A supportive and highly collaborative culture committed to training and development.An organization that is committed to environmental and social governance.Wellness benefits.Summer hours.If you are interested in being considered for this position, please apply in writing by April 26, 2024.Thank you for your interest in Dare Foods Ltd. and the opportunity to review your resume, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.No follow up inquiries or agencies at this time pleaseGuided by our Purpose, Mission and Values Dare Foods Limited is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive and accessible work environment, where all employees feel valued, respected, supported and proud to work here.
