If you are ready to contribute your expertise to this dynamic project, we encourage you to apply now!· Location: Calgary, AB | Hybrid· Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 hours/dayJob type: Full-time | 1-Year ContractDuties and Responsibilities:The Learning Advisor/Instructional Designer is accountable and responsible for the development of learning activities, initiatives and plans associated with implementing the ETRM Refined Products & NGLs Project:Complete learning needs assessmentsDevelop/enhance a detailed learning strategy outlining learning program, activities, and detailed training plan to support project OCM deliverablesDevelop learning project elements to meet identified learning needs and design strategyFollow the company Learning & Development (L&D) processes, standards, and strategiesAlign with the company CORE Optimization program Learning Strategy for consistent development and roll out of learning materials and aidsAdhere to corporate policy and procedures and incorporate company-wide best practices into training materials, where applicableCollaborate with subject matter experts to develop training material and course contentDesign content to optimize learning for cross functional staffCreate instructional material for business clients including, but not limited to, course outlines and training presentations, end user training manual, quick reference guides, user manuals, process workflows, online help files and SharePoint content, eLearning training modules, scripts, storyboard development, and online simulationsWork with the Project OCM on different initiatives to ensure consistent, high-quality products and services are delivered to clientsRequirements and Qualifications: Undergraduate/bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design or related field is an asset8+ years of experience designing and delivering learning programs8+ years of experience in developing technical/business standards, policies, and practicesProven experience in ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) learning program development is a desirable assetA certificate in Adult Learning, Instructional Design or related field with equivalent related experience is advantageousIn-depth knowledge of contemporary learning technologies such as: online learning, gaming and simulation, knowledge capture, validation, integration and transfer, and evaluationProject and Change Management experience supporting learning programs is a plusWorking knowledge of Adobe CaptivateExperienced in designing training for technical applications and business workflowsAbility to design content to optimize learning for Front, Middle and Back-office teamsProficient in Microsoft tools, (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)Proficient with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage the development of multiple training materials and have flexibility with Subject Matter Experts time constraintsDetail oriented and have strong project management skillsMust be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
