Our management encourages open dialogue and innovation, inviting employees to contribute ideas towards our collective goal of enhancing medical technology.If this resonates with you, join us in building the next standard for lymph node search processes, benefiting healthcare facilities and cancer patients worldwide!WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEThe successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, dedicated to achieving the following outcomes:Transitioning our prototype software into production-ready code for regulatory approval and clinical use.Documenting and implementing software development processes to ensure company-wide adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices.Maintaining up-to-date software architecture and technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.WHAT WILL YOU DOAs a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Enhancing existing software to elevate device capabilities and reliability.Integrating software components with hardware systems, facilitating seamless operation.Conducting unit and regression tests to assess software performance and reliability.Preparing and documenting software for regulatory approvals (FDA, Health Canada).Writing and maintaining technical documentation, ensuring compliance with Medical Device Software regulations.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product integration and compliance.Providing updates to senior management on design progress and achievements.Participating in sprint planning, estimation, and reviews, with ownership of deliverables.Mentoring junior developers and interns to foster their professional growth.WHO ARE YOUWe are seeking candidates with:Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or software engineering.Over 5 years of professional software development experience using C# and/or C++ on Windows and/or Linux.Proficiency in Python is advantageous.Strong background in software design principles and verification/validation processes.Prior experience in developing software for commercial medical devices in North America.Familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.Experience integrating software with hardware peripherals.Effective communication skills across disciplines and with customers.BONUS POINTS for experience with Docker containers, machine learning, medical imaging, motion control firmware, ARM-based Linux boards, UI/UX design, databases, and mentorship.Regards, Purnima Pobbathypurnima@themesoft.com972 737 8626Themesoft INC.
