Microsoft Dynamics AX Administrator (ID#4396)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics AX Administrator to help our client manage their AX environment with the added capability of handling development tasks in Salesforce (SFDC).Responsibilities:AX Environment Management:Oversee the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment, ensuring its stability, performance, and security.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement solutions within the AX system.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users as needed.Stay updated with AX best practices and industry trends to optimize system performance and functionality.SFDC Development:Execute development tasks within the Salesforce (SFDC) platform to enhance functionality and meet business needs.Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other relevant technologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Maintain and update existing SFDC configurations and customizations.Transition Management:Work closely with the current resource handling AX and SFDC responsibilities.Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities when the current resource gives their two weeks' notice.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience managing Microsoft Dynamics AX environments, including configuration, customization, and administration.Proficiency in development within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs are an asset.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Microsoft Dynamics AX certification and Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer) are an asset.If you have these qualifications, and are able to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
