Responsibilities include conducting scans to determine where there are inefficiencies, overseeing the development of process maps, and providing recommendations on how to resolve identified inefficiencies and/or underlying issues. This role establishes the organization as a center of expertise for financial information, supporting decision-making and fiduciary responsibilities. Providing comprehensive advice, leading improvement projects, developing training materials, and delivering training are key aspects of the role.We seek candidates with a solid understanding of government financial management operations, financial concepts, risks, and compliance. The ideal candidate has experience building strong relationships with clients and partners, and supervision of employees. Adaptability to switch between operational and strategic roles depending on client needs is essential. Additionally, innovative thinking and the ability to suggest new approaches to improve processes are valued. (Priority may be given to applicants with a bachelor's degree and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation).Experienceand skillsSignificant experience in business process review methodologies, accountability frameworks, and change management strategies;Significant experience in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;Experience in leading cross-functional teams in the implementation of financial process enhancements;Experience in leading the conceptualization, development, and implementation of tailored strategies to meet the specific needs of client groups;Strong problem-solving and innovation skills;Effective communication skills, including the ability to provide recommendations, present concepts and information clearly, and respond to questions from managers and clients.AssetsRelevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA).Additional InformationWe are committed to creating an inclusive workplace by providing a barrier-free recruitment and selection process.
