Toys R Us Canada, proud to be Canadian owned and operated, has an opportunity for a full-time Distribution Centre Administrator on the day shift. This position is performed in our Concord Distribution Centre.Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.The Distribution Centre Administrator will perform various administrative duties in the Receiving department.We want to bring on someone who values what we value- teamwork, excellence, authenticity, accountability and integrity. This is an opportunity for you to take on exciting responsibilities, build on your already strong skill set and help us achieve our goals, all in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun.Responsibilities:Performs various administrative duties as required for daily operations.Process keyrecs and handles a high volume of data entry maintaining accuracy at all times.Research product held in Trouble area and partner with the Department Manager to resolve any problems.Print and burst transfer and receiver labelsProduce and maintain administrative reports as determined by DC managementAnswering phone calls and liaising with Carriers and vendors to provide the highest level of customer serviceSchedule appointments with transport companies for receipt of merchandiseLiaise with various departments to ensure flow of communicationMaintain and file records for drivers, dispatch, etc.Provide the highest level of customer service to both internal as well as external customers.Comply with Toys"R"Us Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA to ensure a culture of safety throughout the organization.May perform other related duties and special assignments as requiredAccurately receives purchase ordersPutaway stock using RF technologyProvides excellent customer service and responds to inquiries within set timeframes from the Purchasing teamEscalates urgent requests as needed to the DC ManagerPerforms other administrative duties and projects as assignedComply with Toys"R"Us Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA.Performs other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the business.Qualifications:1 - 2 years of administrative experience in a distribution centre / warehouse environment preferred with a strong commitment to customer satisfactionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Sharepoint and MS Teams)Proficient in using RF technologyMust have previous experience and / or hold a valid Reach Truck licenseExcellent customer service skillsExcellent organization, planning, and communication skillActs with a sense of urgency and self-direction within established guidelinesAbility to support multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environmentMust be able to cross train between all areas of the DCMust have high initiative, integrity and dependability to function effectively as a team player.Toys"R"Us is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
