Our client is a regional health authority in Victoria and Naniaimo BC looking for Clinicians including RN / Registered Nurses; / MLT / Medical Lab Technologist ; MRT Medical Radiation Technologist with experience in using Cerner systems Order Entry functionality as it pertains to Medical / Surgical Inpatient Nursing, Maternity, Ambulatory, Critical Care, Perioperative, Mental Health, Emergency, Heart Health, Renal, Pediatrics, Neonatal ICU, Pharmacy, Medical Imaging and Lab. The selected resources will relocate to Nanaimo and Victoria for 2 to 3 months to support hospital go-live. Training prior to go-live / golive will be provided.Responsibilities: Deliver system and workflow training for Cerner Order Entry functionality as it pertains to Medical / Surgical Inpatient Nursing, Maternity, Ambulatory, Critical Care, Perioperative, Mental Health, Emergency, Heart Health, Renal, Pediatrics, Neonatal ICU, Pharmacy, Medical Imaging and Lab.Develop training content.Work on the floor directly with clinicians to help them navigate the EHR system.Liaise between clinical and IT / development point of contact to ensure proper functioning and utilization of the system.Provide Elbow support helping clinicians performs specific tasks in the Cerner system efficiently.Qualifications:Previous go-live 'at the elbow' support for a Hospital Information System implementation with physicians and other clinicians or some end-user training experience while working as a Nurse for Cerner order entry functionality.Experience with medical terminology related to Nursing, Lab and/ or radiology.Clinician such as RN / Registered Nurse, Radiologist / MRT, Lab Technician / MLT.
