Our esteemed client is seeking a Human Resources and Training Coordinator with a positive attitude and a passion for teamwork.Responsibilities: Provide top-tier service to all employees through attentive listening and offering guidance or advice when needed.Maintain accurate records for both full-time and temporary employees, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.Manage temporary labor resources by collaborating with agencies and production teams to secure adequate staffing daily.Administer the temporary management system, ensuring up-to-date record-keeping and thorough documentation in employee files.Handle weekly time card reporting for temporary employees, ensuring accurate payroll processing and billing.Facilitate the hiring process for temporary employees, including screening, interviewing, and coordinating evaluations for forklift drivers.Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews, acquainting employees with company policies, benefits, and procedures.Organize and oversee employee training and development initiatives, maintaining accurate training records and scheduling sessions as needed.Actively participate in employee engagement events and activities, fostering a positive work culture.Adhere to relevant legislation and company policies, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all HR-related matters.Qualifications:Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources.Accumulate at least 2 years of experience in HR roles like Coordinator or Training Coordinator.Proficient knowledge of the Employment Standards Act and relevant federal and provincial employment laws.Skilled in using HRIS systems, particularly Workday.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking under pressure.CHRP or CHRL designation preferred.Familiarity with ADP Payroll software.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.Understanding of wage and benefits compensation structures.Bilingualism and automotive manufacturing experience are considered advantageous.Apply now and become a valuable part of the team!
