Your tasks at a glance You oversee the financial reporting process including all periodic reporting for all the entities of the groups, the combination and consolidation process and year-end review and audit processes under ASPE rules. You oversee the reporting by business segment and providing insight on the results. You manage a team of CPAs including three managers and analysts. You proactively identify the need to report on certain aspects of the business needing improvement and organize discussions with the appropriate stakeholders to address these. You monitor and report the performance of acquisitions and investments. You continuously strive to optimize and automate the month end process to ensure the team focuses on value-added activities. You are responsible to ensure the documentation of all the processes and procedures are up to date and the appropriate controls are in place for all financial processes under your responsibility. You are responsible to prepare financial analysis on key costs in partnership with other teams. You are responsible to prepare the quarterly financial package for the board including all the analysis and commentary of the results as well as the quarterly reporting to our financial institution. A clear view of your assets You have your CPA auditor title with a minimum of three years in audit combined with at least 6-8 years of experience in private practice. You have an excellent ability to work efficiently and independently in a multi-business entrepreneurial environment, and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You have extensive experience using ERP systems such as Navision and SAP as well as consolidation tools such as BI Solver. You have deep knowledge of ASPE rules and business combination rules. You have strong leadership skills and are able to motivate your team and develop strategic business relationships. You are fluent in French and in English, as you will have to communicate with unilingual English-speaking employees in other provinces.
