Director of Digital Infrastructure35 hours per week PermanentThe base Campus for this position is still to be confirmed£68,882 - £74,024 per annum (exclusive of pay award)Reference: REQ00830 As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will lead the development of Ayrshire College’s strategic objectives for ICT infrastructure; digital and data services, to achieve integration with overall College aims and objectives. You will provide senior leadership to the College’s ICT and Business Intelligence and Information Systems teams to ensure the effective management of resources and ongoing development of all areas of responsibility in ensuring ICT, digital and data services fully meet the needs of students, staff and the college of the future. This opportunity has arisen at a time when the College is embarking on a transformational journey that will make a difference to the lives of our students, our community, to Ayrshire’s economy and to Scotland. The role will be at the heart of this journey, requiring an ambitious, dynamic and innovative leader, who will contribute to the College’s continuing success. You will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent, and will have an extensive knowledge at a technical level of IT requirements in a large further education college or equivalent large multi-site organization whilst having an understanding of the requirements of information security and governance in the public sector or similar context. You will have a proven history in data management, data leadership, and data governance along with considerable experience in the strategic implementation of digital technology platforms and solutions from inception to live and migrating from low technology infrastructure and solutions to high performing integrated systems. In addition, you will have extensive experience of leading and inspiring teams at a senior management level in a public sector organisation or a similar large and complex organisation.
