DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Monitor workloads and staffing levels, ensuring daily expectations and deliverables are met
  • Provide frontline support to operations team members, answering questions, address problems, and redirect work as needed
  • Keep operations supervisors apprised of trends or concerns
  • Collaborate with Account Coordinators/Managers to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Build and maintain relationships internally and externally to achieve positive outcomes
  • Address customer and carrier requests to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues through effective communication and alternative solutions as needed
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide timely updates related to exception management, and document events following SOPs and experience, escalating when necessary
  • Understand and apply customer workflows and preferences to provide efficient solutions
  • Validate load data accuracy and utilize data for service improvement
  • Ensure compliance with customer TMS requirements and execute carrier offer management
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of related C.H. Robinson experience; operations experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (select roles only)
  • For external postings only: Minimum 3 years of call center customer service or transportation/logistics experience
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Understanding of C.H. Robinson systems and capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
