QA Engineer

Navagis is a Location Intelligence company that empowers organizations to leverage geospatial information to efficiently run their multiple operations via web and mobile applications. Navagis software solutions are built using Google Maps and Google Cloud technologies and open systems to integrate various information sources into a map-driven common operating picture for the entire enterprise. To expand our Asia Pacific operations, we are in need of a QA Engineer to join our fast-growing team. • Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with the team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Create, update and maintain test cases and test data
• Execute test cases (manual & automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or other related courses.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
• Ability to perform Functional Testing (Smoke Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Post Production Testing, Regression Testing)
• Ability to perform Automation Testing
• Must have experience in different project/issue tracking tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Zoho and the like.
• Deep knowledge of testing web-based applications.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
