Job Purpose: To lead and oversee all aspects of Faisalabad plant operations ensuring delivery of the agreed production targets, adherence to food quality and safety standards in line with the strategic objectives of the manufacturing division Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead motivate and inspire the plant team to deliver the expected production targets in accordance with the relevant legal and regulatory standards and NFLs policies and procedures
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of production runs to meet demand while minimizing waste and downtime
  • Monitor production processes to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently and ensure any bottlenecks/inefficiencies are identified and addressed in a timely manner
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control procedures to ensure the plants adheres to legal/regulatory requirements and food products meet the required quality and safety standards
  • Drive a culture of safety across the plant which ensures compliance with all relevant safety regulations, implementation of safety programs, practices and regular safety audits to identify address and safety related concerns
  • Oversee the management of inventory levels for the plat to avoid overstocking or shortages, direct procurement of raw and packaging materials
  • Develop and implement the plant budget and ensure a robust process is in place to track, monitor and report on any variance of actuals vs planned
  • Overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, ensure robust preventive maintenance programs are implemented effectively to minimize downtime and facilitate equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, continuously seeking to identify opportunities for process optimisation and implementation lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure the plant operates in full compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and food safety standards
  • Preparing for and participating in inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure there is a robust process in place to maintain accurate records related to production, quality, safety, and compliance and prepare reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory agencies
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, and monitor energy usage and waste management to reduce the environmental impact of the plant’s operation
  • Develop/implement conting4ency plans to respond to unexpected events or crises that may disrupt production, such as equipment breakdowns, product recalls, or natural disaster
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in food safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a current and comprehensive understanding

Background Requirements: Education & Experience :
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 10-12 years of experience
  • Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with 8-10 years of experience
