Lead Java Kafka with AWS

Job Position (Title) : Lead Java with AWS. Experience inSupply Chain experience or related domains are Mandatory, Active WMS experience would be preferred. Experience Required : 8 Years + Lead experience Required Location : Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida. Notice Period : Immediate to 20 Days Skills : Java, Springboot, Microservices, AWS Platform, Components in AWS (EC2, S3, DynamoDB etc) Kafka or JMS concepts DevOps in AWS (ECS, VPC, Fargate Cloudformation, Jenkins), Spunk or SignalFX or ELK, Unit testing using Junit, Mockito,Supply chain experience, especially Active WMS would be a plus. Role and Responsibilities Build and extend backend applications in a cloud (AWS) environment. Ensure that customer facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient. Help engineering management prioritize technical roadmap and to identify gaps in process and planning. Help to establish and document development best practices and ensure that these practices are adhered to. Skills and Experience Minimum 8 years of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling, and maintaining AWS cloud based Microservices and APIs. Must have development experience on Java/j2ee, Spring Framework Spring boot and Kafka or JMS concepts Experience in Leading a Team is a must. Supply chain experience, especially Active WMS would be a plus. Experience with building and maintaining AWS based integration using ECS, S3, DynamoDB Experience in DevOps in AWS (Cloudformation, Jenkins) Productive in Java/J2EE development environments. Experience in Monitoring tools, Splunk or SignalFX. Experience with unit testing frameworks. Strong software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (Gitlab), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment. Experience integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong willingness to learn and teach. A passion for solving problems and desire to understand how things work. Ability to help troubleshoot and resolve production system issues. Ability to author well designed, testable, efficient code.
