Overview We're National Broadband Ireland and we're delivering the largest telecommunications project that Ireland has ever seen. We're designing, building and operating Ireland's new, high-speed wholesale broadband network under the National Broadband Plan. Our aim is to radically transform the country's broadband landscape through the delivery of quality, affordable high-speed broadband to all parts of Ireland where such services are not available commercially. The NBI network using a combination of State subsidy and commercial investment will deliver high-speed broadband to over 1.1 million people and over 569,000 premises in Ireland. No matter how remote or rural, no town, village or community will be left behind. NBI will be responsible for the management of the new national broadband network for the next 25 years. Key Objectives / Accountabilities: NBI is looking for an experienced Facilities Lead to join a mission-driven company. As the Facilities Lead you will manage and co-ordinate the day to day activities in the Head Office which include: 35,000 sqft office space to include reception, 220 desks, 22 meetings rooms, 4 offices, 1 canteen, 2 coffee docks, 2 comms rooms, 3 storage rooms, 3 RSP rooms, 1 lab, collab spaces, common areas, 2 booths, vending machines, flexible event space that can hold over 250 attendees, parking, overflow parking. Key Responsibilities: People traffic management - employees, contractors, new starters Visitors management Budgetary management Deliveries, couriers in and out, post, taxis, storage Building cleaning and maintenance including Air con Working with multiple external suppliers including landlord, air conditioning, maintenance, catering and stationery Building Health & Safety People management Knowledge & Experience: The successful candidate will need prior experience with the following Accounting management - including procurement, ordering, PRs, PO's, approvals, budget meetings, supplier accounts management Security - Access of building to including employees, contractors, new starters, off boarders, incidents, monthly reports, CCTV Office H&S - emergency lighting, fire management including drills, routes, equipment, signage, first aid, training, PAT testing and assisting HSQE with their monthly office audits Committees - working with Green and Sustainability initiatives, supporting ISO recertification activities, business continuity etc PPE & Uniforms management Events - Organisation of event, furniture derig, rig and rerig, catering, etc Company events - manage all related aspects onsite and assisting with offsite events as required Other company obligations - attending meetings, security training, document management, training, performance management, policy management, risk and contingency planning Project management for Facilities Facilities systems - Maintenance of Facility systems Air con, Condeco, Security access, CCTV, meeting rooms bookings Competency Profile: Business Competencies Problem Solving Results Focus Innovation Business Focus People Competencies Teamwork Interpersonal Skills Coaching & Development Leadership For more Information on National Broadband Ireland please visit: Welcome to National Broadband Ireland - NBI Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
