AVP, Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for efficient ETL processes, SSAS cubes for multidimensional data analysis, and SSRS reports for timely data visualization.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously improve the performance and scalability of BI solutions to meet the bank's growing data and reporting needs.
• Data Integration: Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources into the BI environment.
• Report Development: Create and enhance SSRS reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical business data.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and report specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for data quality, integrity, and security within BI solutions.
• L3 Support: Provide advanced support for L3 issues, troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a timely manner to minimize disruptions in service.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and present BI solutions.
• Technology Advancement: Stay updated on the latest Microsoft BI technologies and suggest relevant upgrades or enhancements to the existing BI infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence development, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL, with proficiency in performance tuning.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data visualization and report design.
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector is a significant advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
• Microsoft BI certifications (e.g., MCSE: Business Intelligence) are a plus
