Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities
- Work alongside stakeholders to establish requirements and convert into technical user stories. Understand opportunities/challenges and propose enhancement that will address these challenges while assessing impact to existing functionality and processes.
- Collaborate and guide development team to build required solutions, becoming an effective bridge between users and technologies
- Ensure code and design are in compliance with bank policies and best practices
- Work with CI/CD pipeline toolchain ( ie. Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Nexus IQ) as well as deployment platforms such as PCF and Openshift.
- Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational as well as technical considerations.
- Provide application platform support as required.
- At least 2 years working experience in relevant roles
- Experience in Agile development practices
- Experience in large scale development using some of the following technology stack
- Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Openshift/ Kubernetes
- Javascript (AngularJS, ReactJS)
- Experience in public cloud technology stacks of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage
- Experience in CI/CD Toolchain ( Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube, NexusIQ, Jfrog)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor and a technical lead
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
