Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the successful candidate will support the team on internal strategy initiatives, in addition to M&A related due diligence, valuation and modeling. Our team takes great pride in providing actionable recommendations in a timely manner as markets and competitive dynamics evolve.WHAT YOU WILL DO• Maintain and develop internal financial models to provide summaries, forecasts and analyses to senior management• Contribute to the preparation of materials, including but not limited to monthly, and quarterly reports• Participate in corporate development and M&A processes, including financial due diligence, modelling, valuation, and presentation preparation• Assist with analysis and preparation of KPIs for management reporting• Assist with ad-hoc projects, documentation, presentations and initiatives as assigned WHAT YOU WILL BRING• Undergraduate degree in business/finance/accounting• CFA or CPA designation (completed or in progress)• Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience in the wealth management or asset management industry, or at least 1 year in investment banking/corporate development as a financial analyst or equivalent role• Fluent in finance and accounting concepts and financial modelling, with an understanding of economic factors affecting valuation• Strong knowledge of corporate finance and capital markets• Ability to create, update, and manage financial models and value companies independently and communicate findings clearly and concisely Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities• Superior written and verbal communication skills• Strong work ethic, ability to learn and work independently as well as part of a team• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with other Microsoft Office products.
