Title: Business Analyst / Technical WriterDepartment: Development/DocumentationReports To: Directeur de Business UnitJob Overview: The Business Analyst/Technical Writer will be responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and creating technical documentation to support software development. This role combines the analytical skills of a Business Analyst with the communication skills of a Technical Writer to ensure clear, concise, and accurate documentation.You will be part of a large team deployed worldwide serving top tier customers.Responsibilities and Duties:Analyze business processes and gather detailed business requirements.Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and QA engineers, to understand product details and document technical aspects and processes.Assist in the planning and design of business processes and make recommendations for improvements.Collaborate with leads to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.Prepare task specifications and work breakdowns to support backlog grooming sessions.Conduct thorough reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Business Analyst/ Technical Writer or similar role.Ability to understand complex information and communicate it clearly and concisely.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and understanding of programming languages.Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.Interest in or knowledge of the sports sector is an asset.Education:Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry.
