A globally recognised brand with offices around the world is searching for a Commerical Leader to drive new business SaaS revenue for their Private Equity/Wealth Management offering in the N.American market place. You will be in charge of a Business Development and Account Management team, and have overall responsibility of the North American market, and report to the CRO in the UK.Job Title - Commercial Leader (North America)Industry - Economic Information/Data Research/Business Information/Market ResearchLocation - Toronto (Hybrid 2 days in the office)Package - $150,000-$190k CAD basic, + Commission + benefitsThe RoleIn this highly lucrative quota carrying Commercial Leader position you will be responsible for prospecting, developing relationships with prospective clients and closing our SaaS based subscription services to Financial clients (Buy Side) across the North American region. This will be achieved through a combination of sourcing own leads, and leads being developed by a number of SDRs working underneath you. You will provide demonstrations of the subscription offering and lead on negotiation. This is a player/manager role whereby you will also take charge of the sales team, setting strategy, and leading the team across the total addressable market. Our client offers a superb subscription based software as a service to financial services companies all over the world. This service provides up to the minute data and real time business intelligence which their clients use for research purposes, and help with key business decision making.The CandidateWe require an experienced Commercial Leader with a proven track record of managing and leading a sales team, as well as new business sales into Financial Services (Investment banks, hedge funds, fund managers etc). It is key that the Commercial Leader has experience in selling to this market - to CIOs, analysts, buy side organisations, consultancies etc.The PackageFor this Commercial Leader position you will be rewarded with a basic salary of between $150,000 and $190,000 CAD with a generous uncapped commission.
