While this role is at an intermediate level, there exists the possibility for career progression within the organization, and the salary will be based on the candidate's experience. The client is involved in diverse heavy civil projects, including reconstruction, site development, and subdivisions.Job DescriptionLiaison with Management and field operationsOrganize Crew personnel and equipmentOrdering of product and equipment for siteResponsible for all on site safetyResponsible for collection and maintaining of accurate paperwork surrounding the projectFamiliar with OPS standardsUnderstanding of Occupational Health and Safety Act. (Green Book)Must obtain recognized supervisory training, and hold certificates in WHMIS, Working at Heights, Trenching, Hoisting and Rigging, CPR, Confined SpaceQuantity surveying - quantifying earth work and site improvements for payment certificatesExtensive experience with underground pipe works is required.Some travel will be required, and physical labour may be required at times. The successful candidate needs to be able to multi-task and prioritize workload.Education/Skills/RequirementsMinimum grade 12 or equivalent.
