Environmental Consultant (Field)We are actively looking for dedicated Intermediate/Senior Environmental Consultants in Multiple Locations including Grande Prairie, Fort St John.As an applicant, you should possess a versatile skill set and demonstrate expertise in Pre-Construction, Remediation, and Reclamation projects. Your role within the team will involve ensuring the safe and efficient execution of project requirements, delivering economical solutions, and maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics to deliver superior work quality to our clients.Undertake scopes of work and generate cost estimates under the guidance of the Project Manager.Ensure the timely and effective completion of project requirements.Oversee both small and large-scale reclamation and remediation endeavors.Conduct thorough site assessments and groundwater monitoring activities.Supervise and coordinate tree planting initiatives.Manage and guarantee compliance with all client and regulatory ground disturbance requirements.Uphold adherence to safety regulations, directives, and SOP's.Implement internal and client safety programs.Stay informed about environmental legislation and regulatory updates, sharing relevant information with the team as it becomes available.RequirementsPossession of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Reclamation, or a related discipline.Accumulated 2-5 years of pertinent field experience.Understanding of upstream oil and gas regulatory requirements in AB & BC.Experience with reclamation and remediation on private and public lands.Proficient skills in soil characterization and vegetation identification.Access to a 4X4 vehicle with a valid class 5 license.Attainment or pursuit of a professional designation would be beneficial.Familiarity with the water act and experience in wetland classification is advantageous.
