Architectural Façade Senior Designer/Team Leader

The CompanyCurrently, one of our clients is looking for a new member of staff to take that next step up with a Design Team Leader Position. The focus on this role will be to manage the design team and help streamline the processes internally, helping efficiencies across the business. You'll be reporting into the Technical Manager, and liaising with the rest of the engineering team, vendors, and different sectors within the business to find more innovative ways to work and push efficiencies across the team. As a business, they're always looking to be on the cutting edge of the technology within curtain wall and glazing. With some major new projects on the horizon, this can be a very fruitful position for the candidate, with some technical and detailed projects.ResponsibilitiesProposal and design of suitable and optimal curtain wall systems for projects to be priced.Understanding and vast experience of curtain wall, cladding, doors, windows, frameless facades, canopies, skylights, balustrades, and more.Understanding of all project documentsRegular contact and reports with different entities of the business and externalsManage priorities and distribution of workload.3D Modelling and renderingPlan and carry out seminars to help develop others.Ideal CandidateDegree educated in some form of Engineering, preferably architecture or design.3 years minimum of knowledge in a technical-based role involving curtain wall projects.AutoCAD and Revit Experience is a must.Ability to train, develop, and nurture other members of the team, and aid and assist the development of others to benefit the company.Bilingual -English and French speakers would benefit from this roleFor more information please contact -Meldrick MoodleyEmail: meldrick.moodley@lignumgroup.com Building Construction,Architectural and Structural Metal Manufacturing,Accessible Architecture and Design
