As a Business Development Executive within our dynamic Insurance Growth Network (IGN), you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth trajectory to build national insurance brokerage. Your mission is to identify and cultivate sales leads, engage, and persuade prospects, and convert them into new branches for our retail insurance network, thereby expanding our brokerage count. With a sharp focus on strategic planning, project management, and negotiation, you will guide potential clients from initial contact to final contract, embodying our brand's excellence and commitment to growth. Your professional demeanor and passion for development will make you a perfect ambassador for our organization.  PROACTIVE ACTIONS • Operate with autonomy, maturity, and a proactive mindset to advance projects and maintain momentum. • Become an expert on our products, processes, and operational standards, continuously educating yourself on industry dynamics. • Engage in market research and analysis to uncover and pursue all avenues to generate business opportunities. • Keep all stakeholders informed, demonstrating urgency and commitment to success.  RESPONSIBILITIES • Generate new business opportunities through diligent prospecting, including cold calling and networking at industry events. • Foster and deepen relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term partnership and satisfaction. • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor positioning, and market opportunities to align our offerings effectively. • Evaluate client requirements versus our capabilities to ensure a match is made for success. • Collaborate with the team to leverage leads and referrals, ensuring a seamless client acquisition process. • Maintain accurate records and reports on sales activities and progress using CRM tools like Salesforce. • Craft business plans, presentations, and other essential documents to support strategic initiatives. • Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and exceeding performance targets.  TEAM SUPPORT • Adhere to company policies and procedures, contributing positively to the team and company culture. • Participate actively in staff meetings and company events, showcasing leadership and motivational skills. • Undertake additional duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.  This role is based in a professional office setting.
