New Directions Aromatics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a passion for online retail and a proven track record of driving sales and improving the customer experience through effective site merchandising strategies. Proficiency with Excel and Google Analytics is required.  Key Responsibilities Develop and execute site merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and design, to ensure alignment of merchandising initiatives.Manage the product catalog on the website, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and compelling.Conduct regular analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to site merchandising and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.Optimize product placement, categorization, filtering options, search functionality, and navigation to facilitate an intuitive and engaging shopping experience.Work with vendors to obtain necessary assets such as high-quality images, videos, product specifications and other supporting materials for effective presentation.Collaborate closely with the UX/UI team to enhance user experience through intuitive navigation paths and visually appealing layouts.Monitor competitor websites to stay informed about industry best practices and trends in site merchandising.Stay updated on industry trends in e-commerce site merchandising techniques and apply them appropriately. Qualifications Proven work experience in e-commerce or online retail with a focus on site merchandising strategies.Strong understanding of online retail principles, including customer journeys, conversion optimization techniques, and SEO best practices.Experience using content management systems (CMS) or similar tools for managing digital content.Proficiency with Excel and Google Analytics to track site performance and make data-driven decisions.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Preferred SkillsExperience with any e-commerce platform, such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.Hands-on experience maintaining e-commerce sites (direct to consumer or B2B).Knowledge of e-commerce marketing space and best practices.Familiarity with e-commerce shoppers and an eye for detail. Additional Requirements Must pass any and all required background checks.Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of e-commerce innovation, working with a team dedicated to creating exceptional online shopping experiences.
