Health Safety Environment Coordinator

This individual will be responsible for all health, safety and environmental-related operations for a fast-moving manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Establish site strategies, systems, and controls to ensure company objectives and compliance in the areas of environmental health and safety.Establish and report key EHS performance metrics Develop and maintain company-wide EHS programs Assess, document, and make recommendations on health and safety improvementsPerform inspections and audits of facility, equipment and processes Identifying risks and making recommendations and/or improvements to current policies and practices.Requirements:Post-secondary degree in Health and Safety or equivalent is strongly preferred.4-5 years of similar industry experience preferred.Excellent interpersonal /communication skillsProven competency in fostering a Health & Safety environmentManufacturing experience requiredEnvironmental knowledge and experience required Staffing and Recruiting
