With an Employee Net Promoter Score of 94, we KNOW we have something special and invite you to be part of it!What You Will Do:· Run daily reports for client payroll bank files and initiating daily client payroll banking;· Resolve daily banking requests and anomalies (insufficient funds, payment redirect, stop payment, etc.) and liaising with the bank to resolve issues;· Daily import and reconciliation with AccPac;· Coordinate cheque printing and in office mailing;· Monthly cheque reconciliation;· Monthly bank reconciliation, with payments to CRA, Revenu Quebec, Ministry of Finance, Family Responsibility Office, garnishments, benefits contributions, RRSP contributions, and union dues;· Monthly WSIB reporting and remittances for clients;· Monitor cash transactions to ensure that bank account balances to the reports and any unusual items are investigated;· Review and process monthly billing for our business partners;· Receive incoming wire transfers and process outgoing wire transfers;· Annual Returns Courier for Revenue QC and EHT;· Complete all cash management documentation for new and existing department processes;· Provide all supporting documentation for the division's semi-annual internal audit CSAE3416;· Review and implement improvements in the cash management procedures;· Other tasks to support the goals of the division as assigned by your manager.A Successful Candidate Will:· Have excellent oral and written communication;· Have excellent customer service soft skills and enjoy speaking with clients;· Demonstrate flexibility, as day-to-day responsibilities may fluctuate based on priorities;· Maintain knowledge about current payroll remittance rules;· Be tech savvy - advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a must;· Have excellent organization and time management skills;· Have a proven track record with attention to detail, accurate data entry, and multi-tasking.Required Qualifications:· At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting and/or payrollCompensation & Additional Benefits/Perks:· $55,000 - $65 000 depending on experience· 15 Paid Holidays · Annual performance based bonus plan· Annual professional development allowance· Hybrid work environment· Health & Dental Benefits· Group RRSP, including company matching· Ongoing internal training and development opportunities· Regular team social events (in-person and remote)Come as you are.
