Your New Role: As the Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with Project and Coordination Managers. Your multifaceted responsibilities encompass various critical tasks: Permits and Licenses: You'll ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are promptly applied for, posted, and kept up-to-date. Project Schedule Management: Your expertise will contribute to the setup, monitoring, and continuous updating of project and labor schedules in coordination with the project team. Change Management: Assisting the Project Manager, you'll handle the distribution, compilation, pricing, tracking, follow-up, and meticulous logging of project changes (such as Change Orders, Construction Directives, and Engineering Work Orders). Closeout Process: You'll actively participate in collecting closeout documents and overseeing the seamless closure of all projects. Supplier Collaboration: Working closely with suppliers, you'll gather competitive quotes for supplies, materials, and equipment. Technical Review: Your keen eye will review take-offs, ensuring alignment with mathematical calculations and specification codes. Real-Time Project Forecasting: You'll contribute to tracking and forecasting project progress, ensuring timely and efficient execution. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career development and hands-on experience with noteworthy projects.What You'll Need to Succeed: To excel as the Project Coordinator, you should bring 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Familiarity with Mechanical Contracting and its associated components is essential. Your attention to detail, ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, and approachability and professionalism with customers are key attributes. Strong mathematical and analytical skills will serve you well in this role. Additionally, having experience with the Jonas Suite of Construction ManagementTools & Software would be advantageous.
