Site Surveyor - Team ManagerThe Site Survey Manager is a pivotal role in S&R Mechanical operations, serving as an energetic team Leader who works on-site and in the office. They are responsible for overseeing layout operations across several S&R projects. They ensure the precise layout of sleeves, anchors and other essential points using advanced measuring tools such as total stations. Additionally, they work in a beautiful office setting, utilizing CAD and BIM software to draft, review, and coordinate layout drawings before implementation on-site.A little about us: S&R Mechanical specializes in mechanical heating and plumbing in institutional, industrial, commercial and residential sectors. We celebrate our community by making a difference within it.We Offer:Competitive Salary- open for discussion based on experienceCollaborative Team CultureOngoing Training Program - full support40 hours a week, Monday to FridayVacationAccess to company vehicleHardware would include laptop, iPhone and other necessary devicesFantastic company events & social hoursRequired Duties & Skills including but not limited:Lead and train a team of Site Surveyors.Troubleshoot on-site and software issues (Auto-CAD, Revit, and measuring equipment).Perform site locates using a Total Station.Draft layout drawings in Auto-CAD.Proficient computer skills for daily file submittals, including data downloading and preparing/organizing field sketches and digital photographs.Review work for quality assurance.Manage maintenance of survey equipment.Ensure team adherence to S&R health and safety policies.Coordinate closely with the VDC/BIM department, project managers, foremen, and other staff.Manage multiple projects simultaneously.Follow directions from site teams and project managers.Attend project meetings.Open for ad-hoc projects on-site downtime.Qualifications:A college or University degree or diploma in Civil Engineering is an asset.Experience in Mechanical construction is an asset.1 to 2 years of experience with a total station is an asset.A valid G Class Ontario driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required.Competencies:Proficient in interpreting architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings.Knowledgeable in construction concepts and terminology.Strong technical computer skills.Must have demonstrated leadership abilities.Practical professional communication skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.S&R Mechanical is committed to establishing a diverse and equal employment workforce.
